About Us

USA Cooking Camps, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Cherise N. Ragland to explore options in the field of culinary arts. The objective was to develop top quality entertainment and educational programs using culinary arts as a platform to teach youth the fundamentals of food preparation, kitchen safety and sanitation, nutrition, table etiquette, history, and cultural diversity.
[USA CCI] has evolved to become a unique organization in the area of culinary outreach to children and adults. Since it's inception, USACCI has implemented over 250 camps and thousands of youth and adults have gone through the programs.
In 2010, USACCI is proud to introduce it's first season of The Jr. Cuisine Cooking Show' airing on PBS in Chicago. "We are very excited about our partnership with PBS and it's an honor intoduce The Jr. Cuisine Cooking Show to the Chicago land area first, says Founder and Executive Producer Cherise N. Ragland. We look forward to having a positive impact in the lives of so many youth, our ultimate goal is to educate while entertaining."
